Better Tomorrows is pleased to announce it has received a $10,000.00 grant from the Leo & Peggy Pierce Family Foundation. These funds will help the residents they serve at Jackie’s Garden and New Covenant Manor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Better Tomorrows, a national nonprofit providing social services to affordable housing communities, provides residents with a variety of activities on a daily basis.  One of the more exciting activities involved the creation of a traditional vegetable and a hydroponic garden to promote good health and food literacy within these two specific communities.  This grant will enable them to have a garden manager on staff to help them continue their gardening success.
Jackie’s Garden and New Covenant Manor is owned and managed by Interstate Realty Management, a subsidiary of The Michaels Organization, which has a strategic partnership with Better Tomorrows to provide supportive services to all its residents.
