Back to School Backpack Extravaganza

  • unnamed 4
With the end of summer, Better Tomorrows is geared up to help our youth prepare for a successful school year. On Monday, August 28th, Better Tomorrows provided over 45 youth residing at Roosevelt Manor in Camden, NJ, with backpacks and school supplies. We were fortunate to have an amazing group of supporters including: TD Bank, Starbucks at the Promenade, and the Evesham Township, Mt. Laurel, and Moorestown Libraries, all of whom allowed us to put collection boxes at their sites.
We also wish to thank the Camden City Firefighters for their generous financial support.
We were able to collect tons of school supplies through various donations to serve these youth and help prepare them for another great school year! We distributed the backpacks filled with school supplies to Roosevelt Manor's youth and provided them with some treats to celebrate as well. All the youth were excited to go back to school with their new backpacks in stow!
