On the west side of the island of Oahu between the community of Ewa Beach and Oahu’s “Second City” Kapolei is the growing community of East Kapolei where Keahumoa Place is located.
Keahumoa Place is located on historic sugarcane fields recently repurposed for housing expansion in the City & County of Honolulu’s plans for a “Second City” to provide convenient access to government services to the growing population and to create an affordable housing market.
Keahumoa Place is one of several new apartment and housing developments on the old agricultural fields.
A mass transit rail system is also currently under construction to connect the island’s two major cities, Kapolei and Honolulu. A station along the rail system is just 1 mile from Keahumoa Place and only 3 miles away from our community is The University of Hawaii West Oahu campus.
In addition, Keahumoa Place cares for the environment and our resident’s health. Through innovative green measures and efficient building techniques, our homes in Keahumoa Place attained the highest level of certification LEED can offer: Platinum Certification. Earning this level is not a small feat and being a part of the sustainable building movement is something in which our community can truly be proud of.
